JANE McCARSON STONE May 18, 1945 - October 3, 2012 Myra Jane McCarson Stone, age 67, of 717 New Hope Road, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Laurens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Rebecca Milam McCarson and the late James McCarson. She worked at BASF for many years, serving as a Quality Control Inspector. After her retirement, she became a foster parent. Jane was a member of both New Prospect Baptist Church in Anderson and Bellview Baptist in Laurens. She is survived by her sons, William Anthony "Tony" Stone of Anderson and M. Jason Stone of Greenville; four brothers, Jim McCarson of New Orleans, Gene McCarson of Laurens, Bo McCarson of Newberry and Randy McCarson of Laurens; two sisters, Frances Leroy of Laurens and Lidie Fulmer of Newberry; two grandchildren, Jordan and Ashlin Stone; and Miles Patterson, and Sandy Z. Rios, who were very special to her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, who she loved dearly, Mr. and Mrs. Ed C. Milam; and a brother, Frank McCarson. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 am at New Prospect Baptist Church in Anderson, with Reverend Bobby Watson officiating. Interment will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home in Anderson on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
