Jane Brown Stovall, age 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Lexington Hospice House.

Born July 22, 1941, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Leon Brown and Fannie Harrison Brown. She was married for 54 years to Bobby Randall Stovall until his death in 2017. She was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Randall Stovall; and brothers, Jimmy R. Brown, Bobby M. Brown, and Gerald D. Brown.

Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a devout Christian and faithful member of Central Presbyterian Church where she previously served as a deacon. She was a lifelong resident of Anderson and served her community in many ways over the years, including as an insurance agent operating her own agency.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela "Missy" Stovall Moseley and her husband Marty of Greenwood, SC; grandchildren, Randall Andrew Watson and his wife Gloria, Marcus Stovall Watson, Allee Annmarie Watson, and Colby Adam Moseley; and special friend and caregiver, Barbara Satterfield and her husband Stan.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2:00-2:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Noelle Read officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
