Chambers of Anderson, SC died Saturday, January 21, 2006.Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of Wilma Nicholson Hedden of Anderson, SC and the late Gus Hedden. Mrs. Chambers retired from Mt. Vernon Mills. She was a graduate of Girls High School and attended Lee University, Cleveland, TN. She was a member of River of Life Church of God in Anderson, SC and a former Sunday school teacher.Mrs. Chambers is survived by her husband, Roy P. Chambers of the home; mother, Wilma Nicholson Hedden of Anderson, SC; two sons, Rev. R. Bruce Chambers and his wife Vickie of Seneca, SC and Steven M. Chambers and his wife Ella of Stanley, NC; a daughter, Gail Chambers Hayes of Belton, SC; two brothers, Vernon Hedden of Orlando. FL and Aubrey M. Hedden of Anderson, SC; one sister, Aleen Estes of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren, Crystal M. Chambers, Lori Chambers Magaha, Brandon D. Hayes, Jennifer Brooke Hayes, and Jodee McKenzie Hayes; and a number of nieces and nephews.The family is at their respective homes.
