Janet Mae Lehn Krakos, age 84, of 439 Singleton Road, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at her residence with her beloved family by her side. Born on July 13, 1934, in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Martin Lehn and the late Sarah Stokes Lehn. For forty-six years, Janet was the loving and devoted wife of the late George Thomas Krakos until his death in 2012. Mrs. Krakos was a graduate of Central Bucks County High School in Doylestown, PA. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Krakos leaves behind to carry on her legacy, five sons, Greg Krakos (Angela) of Anderson, Rod Krakos (Pat) of Jackson, MS, Garry Krakos (Kum Hui) Annandale, VA, Jeff Krakos (Deann) of Granbury, TX, and Tom Vineis of Lock Haven, PA; three daughters, Cynthia Vineis of Effort, PA, Sherry Krakos of Lambertville, NJ, and Susan Vineis-Matyas of Doylestown, PA; also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Janet was preceded in death by a son, Joe Vineis; four brothers, Norman, Martin, Russell and William Lehn. A Cryptside service to honor and celebrate the life of Janet Krakos will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Reverend Dr. Steve Silvey officiating. Entombment will follow immediately thereafter. The family will be at the residence and will receive with friends following the service at Forest Lawn.
