Janet Lou Glenn Turner, 70, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Rainey Hospice House. Born July 26, 1950 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hoyd Boyd Glenn and Mattie Lou Porter Glenn. Janet spent her career in the textile industry having worked for Appleton Mill, West Point Stevens and Glen Raven Mill. She loved fishing on Lake Hartwell and driving her Mustang. She was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, James Harold Turner; son, Jimmy Risner, Jr. of Anderson, SC; daughter, Melissa Findley of Anderson, SC; step-sons, James Daniel Turner and David Adam Turner both of Anderson, SC; brothers, Roger Dale Glenn and William Hoyt Glenn both of Anderson, SC; sister, Helen Glenn Sutherland of Townville, SC; grandchildren, David Matthew Calvert, Amber Lou Findley and Joseph Alexander; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
