Janice Louise Peace Dutton, age 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Rainey Hospice House surrounded by her family. Born June 26, 1947, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Willard Peace and Mildred Jordan Peace. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jamie Dutton. Janice was a wonderful cook and loved to prepare family meals on Sunday. She loved flowers and having them around the house to enjoy. She also enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach with her family. She was a member of Sanctuary of Praise and will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Clarence J. Dutton; son, Jeffrey Dutton; daughter, Jennifer Dutton; grandchildren, Javelin Dutton, Julie Chapman, and Katlyn Chapman; and great grandchildren, Jakobi Roberts, Kendall Chapman, Connor Gaines, and Sora Gaines. The family will receive friends Monday, April 3, 2023, from 2:00-2:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Russell Drake officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
