She was a member of Freedom Center Assembly of God of Anderson, (Formerly 1st Assembly of God). She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.Survivors include her sons, Larry Sears and his wife, Betty, Roger Sears and his wife, Edna and Phillip Sears and his wife, Teresa, all of Anderson, SC; daughter, Pamelia Tench and her husband, Gary of Belton, SC; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Wendell Stamps; sisters, Betty Pike and Dorothy Stamps and one great-grandson.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Freedom Center Assembly of God officiated by Pastors Phillip Sears and Jeremy Sears. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Mrs. Sears will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm on Friday.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or Freedom Center Assembly of God of Anderson, 3235 D.
