JAY BRISSEY Jacob "Jay" Dana Brissey of 3000 Bellview Road died at his residence on Friday, May 2, 2014. Born on August 3, 1961, in Anderson, he was the son of Anne Lyons Brissey and the late Jacob Harmon Brissey, III. Jay was the grandson of the late John Joseph Lyons and Jacob Harmon Brissey, Jr. He was a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School, Class of 1979, and was employed for approximately 30 years at J. Stathakis and Company. In addition to his mother, Jay is survived by 2 brothers, Michael Brissey of Highlands, NC and John Andrew Brissey and his wife, Renee, of Anderson; a sister, Ann Bradley Brissey of Highlands. Jay also leaves behind a wife, Lynn Yohman and a daughter, Dana of Anderson; 2 grandchildren, Brianna Nicole and Aleigha Jean. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. The family will be at the home of Andy and Renee Brissey, and will schedule a private memorial service to honor and celebrate Jay's life at a later date.
