JAY CARLTON CRAFT November 23, 1943 - April 2, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Jay Carlton Craft, 68, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson County SC, he was the son of the late Tom Watson Craft and Gladys Browning Craft. He was a graduate of Pendleton High School class of 1964 and retired as a salesman for Palmetto Insurance Company. Mr. Craft was a member of Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith.He was the loving brother of Annette Craft Stanley, Nancy Craft Clemones both of Pendleton, and Vallie Ree Craft Durham of Piedmont; six nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Mike Montgomery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Mr. Craft will be placed in the church at 10:00am on Thursday.Flowers are optional.
