JB JACKSONOctober 14, 1916 - December 3, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. JB Jackson, age 92, of Anderson, husband of the late Mary Magdalene Stasney Jackson, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Richard M. Campbell Veteran Nursing Home.Born in Starr, SC on October 14, 1916, Mr. Jackson was a son of the late Nancy Jackson Clinkscales. He was a Dale Carnegie graduate and retired as plant manager of Abney Mills. He served in the United States Army during World War II fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a Mason, an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Jackson was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and ministered to the shut-ins.Survivors include his daughters: Patricia J. Applewhite and her husband, Milton of Belton, SC; Beverly Gail Leonard and her husband Guy of Charleston, SC; and Sharon Diane Lovrich of Ramsey, NJ; sister, Barbara Ann Tribble, Walhalla, SC; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and mother, he was predeceased by his son, Donald F. Jackson.A private family service will be held.The family will be at the home of Patricia Applewhite, 1304 Anderson Street, Belton, SC.Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O.
