ANDERSON, SC'James Doc Blackwell, age 85, widower of Ruby Elizabeth Rauton Blackwell, formerly of 334 East Roosevelt Driv3, Anderson, SC died Sunday, August 14, 2005 at the home of his daughter.Born in Anderson, SC on December 6, 1919 Mr. Blackwell was the son of the late Robert Macklin Blackwell and the late Inez Murdock Blackwell. He worked for Glenn Plumbing for 30 years. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.Mr. Blackwell is survived by two sons, Dennis and Robert 'Bill' Blackwell both of Anderson, SC; two daughters, Cathy E. Blackwell and Nancy R. Thomas both of Anderson, SC; one brother, Robert 'Judy' Blackwell of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Blackwell was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman C. and Darell Blackwell and a sister, Kathleen Dickens.The family is at the home of a daughter, Cathy E. Blackwell, 507 Winfield Street, Anderson, SC.
