Jean Malinowski Fairchild, 68, of Iva, SC passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House. Born November 1, 1949, in Nyack, New York, she was a daughter of the late Stanley Malinowski and the late Julia Shallash Malinowski. She was employed as phone greeter from Walmart with 28 years of service. She is survived by her children, Keith Fairchild (Wanda), Charles Fairchild, Jr. (Janie) and Cheryl Smith (Bill) all of Iva, SC; brother, Stan Malinowski (Linda) of Spring Valley, NY; 8 grandchildren, Andrew Fairchild (Megan), Erika Massey (Seth), Kayla Fairchild, Randall Smith, Jessica Eades, Rachel Eades, Gary Eades and Seth Eades and one great grandchild on the way. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fairchild, Sr. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Marguereite Shephard officiating.
