Odessa Jean Baker Frost, age 71, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Dublin, GA on August 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Lenoid Baker and the late Martha Ruth Hamby Baker. Jean worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, Geriatric Care and Hospice Care. She also worked at The Church of God Home for Children in Sevierville, TN. She was a lifelong, devoted member of River of Life Church of God, with a strong passion for outreach. Jean tithed faithfully and enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school and having fellowship with her church family. Most of all, she had absolute and unwavering faith in God, standing on His Word and holding to the Pentecostal faith. She sacrificed everything for her family, and for that we will love and honor her forever. She is survived by her sons, Jack Eugene Frost, Donald Stanley Frost, Jr., Phillip Lee Trotter, and Stephen Andrew Frost (Kelley); sisters, Grace Maurine Luper and Carolyn Ruth Freeman; grandchildren, Faith, Trinity, Nicholas, Parker, Makenzie, Madison, Tiffany, and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Rylan and Braylen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 39 years, whom she loved dearly, Donald Stanley Frost, Sr.; brothers, Theron Lenoid Baker and Cecil LaDane Baker; a son, Bobby Dale Bumgardner; and a grandchild, Ashley Odessa Trotter. The funeral service will be held at River of Life Church of God on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dale Dyar officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
