Jean Marie Myers Anderson, SC Jean Marie Myers, 76, of Anderson, SC, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at The Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Leo Emmitt Turley and Ida Catherine Mattingley Turley. Mrs. Myers was bartender most of her working life and was widowed by her husband James Albert Hunter in 1973. She is survived by four children: a son: Kevin Hunter of Millsboro, Delaware; a son: Jeffrey Hunter of Anderson, SC; a daughter Pamela Jean Hunter of Maryland; and a son: Bill Hunter of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by a son: James Emmitt Hunter. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with the Dr. Reverend Dwight Greene officiating.
