Born in Newnan, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jones Cogdill and the late Imogene Hardy Cogdill. She had retired from the Alpa Technology and she enjoyed go-kart racing. She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years; a daughter, Debbie Whitten Brewster of Anderson, SC; one grandson, Justin Brewster; her precious dog, Freckles; brothers Charles Cogdill of Columbus, GA and Kenny Cogdill of Flint, MI; and sister, Judy Rollison of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Cogdill. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 4:00 pm at New Silver Brook Cemetery, with the Reverend Julien Crowe and Mr. Nick Netchaeff. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at The McDougald Funeral Home from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
