Jeffrey Ray Sammons, 57, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born April 16, 1963, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Raymond Sammons and Jean Cole Sammons. Jeff was a graduate of Westside High School and worked alongside his father at their business, Carolina Electric Motor Services. He was an avid golfer and a member of Pine Lake Golf Club. He loved the Clemson Tigers, cooking and traveling. Jeff was a charter member of High Praises Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Lyn Sammons; parents, Raymond and Jean Sammons; son, Blaine Sammons (Hannah); daughter, Brittany Maw (Jonathan); step-daughter, Teresa Moon; sister, Rhonda Sammons Ballew (Bob); 4 grandchildren; and 2 step-grandchildren. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the guest register on Friday, December 18, 2020, between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. There will be a private family funeral service. Flowers will be accepted and memorial contributions may be made to High Praises Church, 4506 Midway Rd., Williamston, SC 29697.
