Jefferson Tillman Willis, Jr., age 70, of 124 Fowler Road, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center with his beloved family by his side. Born in La France, SC on September 6, 1946, he was the son of the late Jefferson Tillman Willis, Sr. and the late Ruby Edna Head Willis. For forty-seven years he was the devoted husband of Audrey Martin Willis of the residence. Mr. Willis proudly served his country in the US Army. He was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills in La France after thirty years of employment as a weaver and in several other positions. Bone loved fishing, horseback riding, and family trips to the beach. He was very devoted to his family. Mr. Willis was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife, Audrey, he is survived by a daughter, Rita Willis Harrison (Mark Hopkins) of Anderson; two brothers, Nolan Willis (Whitney) of Anderson, and Ray Willis of Sandy Springs; two sisters, Louise Haggerty of Sandy Springs, and Beatrice Rollins (Billy) of Pendleton; two granddaughters, Kaleigh and Kennedy Harrison; a special niece, Candra Rich and a special nephew, Shane Autry; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bone also leaves behind his companion pet, Bo Willis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Willis was preceded in death by a son, Jefferson Tillman Willis, III; a daughter, Tracy Annette Willis; two brothers, Jones Edward Willis and John Robert Willis; four sisters, Shirley Ann Whitman, Edna May Roper, Wilma Jean Brown and Patricia Maxine Gaines. The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Willis will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Reverend Dr. Philip Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Clemson Memory Gardens. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, April 17, 2017, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Mr. Willis may be made to Mt.
