Griffin and Jane J. Griffin of Anderson, SC. He was a graduate of Crescent High School and attended East Carolina University where he was a football player. He was employed with H.U.D. as an inspector and was a former employee of Pine Lake Golf Club. He attended Varennes Heights Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Bruce Griffin and his wife, Deneen of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Tammy Maddox and her husband, Dr. Barry Maddox of Anderson, SC; grandmother, Annie Lee Griffin of Anderson, SC; three nieces and a nephews and girlfriend, Joie Lynn Atkin. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 11:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.The family will be at the home of his parents, John and Jane Griffin, 137 Cedar Road, Anderson, SC 29624.
