JERRI ZITNIK March 28, 1947 - March 27, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Jerri Bruce Zitnik, age 65, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her residence. Born in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late Howard Bruce and the late Katie McNinn Bruce. She lived in Deland, FL for many years and worked at Halifax Medical Center in the Medical Billing and Accounting Department. She also ran the Airport Bar and Grill with her husband, the late Charles Zitnik. In 2005 she moved back to Anderson, SC. She is survived by her son, Ted Walters and his wife Shelly of Anderson; a daughter, Kim Walters of Pendleton; her step-mother, Ruby Bruce; and two grandchildren, Logan and Jackson Walters. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Bruce. A time of Remembrance for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the home of her son, 303 Brighton Road, Anderson, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson County Humane Society, 235 Camson Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
