OBITUARYJERRY AYCOCKAugust 17, 1939 - August 3, 2007ANDERSON, SCJerry Randall Aycock, age 67, husband of Sara Whitfield Aycock, of 100 Aycock Drive, died Friday, August 3, 2007 in Union, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on August 17, 1939, Mr. Aycock was a son of the late James Aycock and Laura Nell Gibson. He was employed by Cheerwine Bottling Company of Greenville, SC. He was a member of Gideons International and was a Mason. Mr. Aycock was also a member of Concord Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, usher and greeter.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Brian Randall Aycock of Belton and a daughter in law, Hope Aycock of Anderson, SC and five grandchildren, Timothy Bryan Aycock, Brina Renee Aycock, Hannah Leigh Aycock, Haley Lynette Aycock and Heidi Lauren Aycock.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Ronnie Dale Aycock; daughter, Ivey Lynn Aycock; brothers, Carl Gibson, Winfred 'Cowboy' Gibson and Richard Gibson and sister, Dot Harbin.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Concord Baptist church officiated by the Reverend Bob Marcaurelle, Reverend Randy Blank, Reverend Jack Ellenburg and Reverend Dr. Don Cox. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
