Jerry Eugene Jenkins, age 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born September 27, 1946, in Anderson, he was a son of the late Belton Ford Jenkins and Mattie Lou Carver Jenkins.

Jerry was a devoted family man who was endlessly proud of his son and grandchildren. Some of his favorite things were watching his grandson play lacrosse, Jenny's banana pudding, cherry cordials at Christmas, and football. He was a great joke teller and was Shirley's very own Elvis! He loved his family beyond measure and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Shirley A. Craft Jenkins; son, Ramey E. Jenkins (Jennifer); brothers, Kippy Jenkins (Sue), Keith Jenkins (Dawn), and Dinky Jenkins (Brenda); sisters, Connie Roberts (Brad) and Sue Peace (Calvin); and grandchildren, Emily Coen (Daniel) and Garrett Jenkins.

A cryptside service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Scott Taylor officiating.
