Jerry Lee McAllister, age 56, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born May 18, 1964 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Charles Ray McAllister and Shelby Jean Hamby McAllister. Jerry was a graduate of McDuffie High School and enjoyed fishing. He had a great sense of humor, was a devoted family man and a big ole teddy bear. Jerry was a beloved husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Norma Jean Nichols McAllister; daughter, Candace Elizabeth McAllister Clark (Shon); step-children, Kimberly Rose Hackett (fianc Jason Cobb), and Nicholas Gene Nichols; 8 step-grandchildren, 1 step great-grandchild and 1 expected grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Marie Chapman McAllister; and infant brother, Victor McAllister. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from 6:30-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
