Jerry Dean Moore, age 53, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Gladys Stewart Moore and the late Alvin Henry Moore. Mr. Moore was a 1978 graduate of Pendleton High School and a graduate of Greenville Technical College. He retired from Michelin and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Moore also enjoyed restoring old cars and was a member of the Classic Car Club. In addition to his mother, Mr. Moore is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Sherryl Campbell Moore; children, Rebecca Spoores, Shannon Terry and his wife Paula; brothers, Tony Moore and Terry Moore; grandchildren, Cassandra Spoores and Harrison Terry; mother-in-law, Barbara Campbell; brother-in-law, Jeff Campbell and his wife Lisa; sister-in-law, Vickie Bennett and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Duncan and Rev. Dr. Mack Tester officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 27, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
