JERRY PARTAIN October 7, 1943 - July 9, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. Jerry Horton Partain, age 64, husband of Freda F. Partain of 338 Cann Road, died Wednesday, July 09, 2008 at his residence.Born in Anderson, SC on October 7, 1943, Mr. Partain was a son of the late Melvin Partain and Frances Bray. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglas for over 22 years and was the owner and operator of Partain's Siding. He was a member of Crossway Community Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; son, Jerry Partain, Jr.; daughters, Traci Wideman and Lisa Bowen and four grandchildren, Lee Wideman, Cara Wideman, Jennifer Bowen and Hannah Bowen, all of Anderson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lemuel Partain and a sister, Jeannette Addington.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends C. W. Hicks and Mike Knowles. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Mausoleum Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
