Mr. Jerry Morton Register, 81, of Anderson, SC passed away on Friday, February 12th, 2016 at An-Med Health Medical Center. Jerry was the son of the late Russell and Uceta Register. Jerry was born on May 11th, 1934 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Jerry was widowed by his loving wife, Ann, of 60 years, in January of 2015. He retired from AT&T in 1983, as a 2nd level supervisor, after 31 years of service. After retiring, he owned and operated Phone Crafters, a telecommunications company, for 12 years. He enjoyed gardening, working on various projects around the house, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. Jerry is survived by his children: Susan Register, Nancy Thomason and husband Ken, Leigh Corcoran and husband Jim, and Allan Register all of Anderson; his grandchildren: Jennifer Selman and fianc Scott Howard of Belton, Aimee Gray and husband Cade of Starr, Kyle Thomason of Anderson, and Britini Corcoran of Anderson; and his great grandchildren: Landon, Ivey, Caroline, Blake, and Jackson. In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother: Jack Register and sister: Dorothy Johnson. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. The Register family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 at The McDougald Funeral Home from 12:00-1:30pm prior to the service.
