Jessica Pearl Davis Tiller, age 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Greer Memorial Hospital.

Born December 17, 1941, in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Leo Davis, Sr. and Pearlia Mae Shehan Davis. She was married to Jimmy Allen Tiller, Sr. until his death in 1995. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Albert Davis, Harold Davis, Tommy Geddings, Sr., Bobby Geddings, and Adger Davis; and sisters, Dorothy Payne, Sylvene Shelton, Georgia Lea Davis, Della Gurley, and Willie Mae Duncan.

Jessica was a loving mother who took care of those around her. She was the true definition of a loving, kind, and gentle soul. She had a lively, positive, fun outlook on life and was always happy. She loved music and you could catch her dancing all the time. Her light will be missed by those blessed enough to know her.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Allen Tiller, Jr.; daughters Joy Tiller Kamees (Joseph) and Susan Tiller Parker (Dennis); brothers, Jesse L. Davis, Jr. and Jimmy L. Davis; sisters, Marie Taylor and Patricia Frazier; grandchildren, Nichole Lance, Grayson Parker, Cheyenne Kamees, and Joseph Kamees; great grandchildren, Makayla Pettit, Haley Luster, Connor Lance, Brice Parker, and Moriah Parker; great-great grandchild, Marcellus Luster; and her beloved cat Nashby.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 10:00-10:45 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am in the Chapel with Rev. Dennis Donald Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
