JESSIE JENNINGS September 19, 1916 - June 1, 2006IVA, SCMrs. Jessie Parnell Jennings, age 89 of Willow Creek Living Center, Iva, SC died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Starr, SC on September 19, 1916, Mrs. Jennings was a daughter of the late George Haskell Parnell and Jessie Pattie Campbell Parnell. She was retired from Sports Wear Unlimited in Antreville and was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple in Iva.She is survived by a son, Reverend Charles T. Jennings and his wife, Patricia of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters, Patsy Dutton and her husband, Columbus of Belton and Maxie Richardson and her husband, William of Iva; sisters, Lucy McAlister and Betty Gentry, both of Anderson; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Louie C. Parnell, Ralph Parnell, Floyd Parnell and Fred E. Parnell and sisters, Madge Warren and Willie Mae Warden.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Temple in Iva officiated by the Reverend Phil Hall and Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, June 3, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Jennings will be placed in the church at 1:30 pm on Sunday.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Maxie Richardson, 505 Foster Circle, Iva, SC.Flowers are optional.
