JESSIE LEE KERNELLS February 21, 1912 - August 7, 2005ANDERSON, SCMrs. Jessie Lee Kernells, age 93 of 3 P Street, Anderson, SC, died Sunday, August 07, 2005 at the Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Hall County, GA, she was a daughter of the late N. C. Ranson and Mary Patterson Ranson. She was retired from Appleton Mill as a weaver. She was a member of West Anderson Church of God and the secretary and president of the Mother's Sunday School class.Survivors include sons, Clyde W. 'Doot' Mullinax of Anderson, SC and Ray E. Church of Brownsville, TX; daughter, Barbara Jean Wilson of Anderson, SC; sisters, Juanita Coffee of Belton, SC, Peggy Hickman and Grace Dove, both of Anderson, SC; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde William Mullinax, Robert Edward Church and Robert Lee Kernells; a son, James Richard 'Dick' Mullinax; a brother, Theo Ranson and eight sisters, Virginia Broome, Venetia Bailey, Viola Bates, Hazel Callaham, Edith Ransom, Helen Ransom, Lola Mitchell and Jeanette Ransom.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at 2:00 pm at West Anderson Church of God by the Reverends John M. Daniel and Mark Daniel. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, August 8, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Kernells will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm on Tuesday.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
