TODD, SR.SEPTEMBER 14, 1935 - DeceMBER 12, 2010ANDERSON, SC ' Jessie Lee 'Smokey' Todd, Sr., age 75, of 2525 Broadway Lake Road, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Habersham County, GA, on September 14, 1935, he was a son of the late Tillman Todd and Julia Chastain Todd. Mr. Todd retired from Wellington Yarns and was an avid wood worker.Survivors include his children: Debra Brigman of the home, Jessie L. 'Bucky' Todd, Jr. of Anderson, and Ricky Alan Todd of Anderson, SC; sister, Francis Nix of Anderson; brother, Eugene Todd of Anderson; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Shelby Jean Reid Todd; a son, Jimmy Earl Todd; two sisters: Margaret Lowe and Coote Bowen; and a brother, Alvis Todd.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Bethany Cross.
