Jimmie McMahan Iva, SC Jimmie Marion McMahan, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Exalted Health and Rehab of Iva. Born in Anderson, SC, on June 13, 1936, he was the son of the late Julia McMahan Rollins. Jimmie proudly served his country for 8 years in the Army Reserves. He retired from textiles after many years of service. He attended Hebron United Methodist Church. He is survived by his children, John Marshall McMahan and his wife Linda, of Fountain Inn, SC and Daniel Lee McMahan and his wife Maggie, of Anderson, SC; a brother, Jerry Rollins, of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Roxie Moore, of Iva, and Linda Keown, of Anderson; two half-sisters, Nancy Blanchard, of Anderson, SC and Kathy Smith, of Alabama; one granddaughter, Amber Johnson, and her husband Joe; one step-granddaughter, Brandi Reedy and her son, Sterling Jones. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Simpson McMahan; his second wife, Lucille Crittendon McMahan; and a granddaughter, Courtney McMahan. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Robert Eubanks and Pastor Ron Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of his sister, Roxie Moore, 315 Gray Circle, Iva, SC, and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Caris Hospice, 129 Straight Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
