Jimmie Rufus Sullivan, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC on June 8, 1934, he was the son of the late Walla Ghee Sullivan and the late Ila Blanche Glenn Sullivan. Jimmie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a former manager at Ingles in Belton and a member of Grace Memorial Baptist. He is survived by his children, Jimmy Sullivan, Jr., of Anderson, SC, Paul Sullivan, of Anderson, SC, Judy Camp, of Charleston, SC, and Diane Meredith, of Anderson, SC; two brothers, George "Bud", and Donnie Sullivan, both of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren, Jamie Cornwell, Nicholas Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, Misty Sanders, Justin Sullivan, and Megan Ruhland; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Mae Rider Sullivan; two brothers, Walter Jack, and William Harold Sullivan; and a grandson, Preston E. Meredith III. The Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Dale Dyar officiating. The family will be at the residence.
