James E. "Jimmy" Finley, Jr., 61, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Friday, January 1, 2021, at his residence. Born February 2, 1959, in Anderson, SC, he is the son of Geraldine Gilstrap Finley and the late James Edward Finley, Sr. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked at Michelin where he later retired. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing on Lake Russell. He also enjoyed camping, especially on Hunting Island in Beaufort County. In addition to his mother, Geraldine, he is survived by his daughters, Ashley Branyon (Ron), and Amber Finley; and two grandchildren, McKenzie and Ryelan. In addition to his father, James, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dana Finley. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. John Davis officiating.
