JIMMY MYERS December 7, 1953 - February 15, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Jimmy Lee Myers, age 53, husband of Debbie McAlister Myers of 406 McGee Road, Anderson, SC, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 15, 2007.Born in Anderson, SC on December 7, 1953, Mr. Myers was a son of G. L. Myers and Gladys Hawkins Myers of Anderson. He was an employee of BASF for 32 years and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbie McAlister Myers of the home; sons, Chad Myers and his wife, Kerri and Chris Myers and his wife, Jennifer; brother, Danny Myers and sisters, Faye Wicker and Tina Yeargin and mother-in-law, Mary Jo McAlister Swinford, all of Anderson, SC. His father-in-law, Gene McAlister, preceded him in death. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Temple officiated by the Reverends Sam Duncan and Hudson White. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mr. Myers will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm on Saturday.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
