Peeples, age 67, of 105 Aycock Drive, passed away February 6, 2012. Born in Barnwell, SC on December 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Warren Douglas Peeples and Alice Long Peeples. Mr. Peeples was formerly employed with Lakeside Mobile Homes and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria Creech Peeples; sons, Billy Douglas Peeples and his wife, Ashley, and Jimmy Jason Peeples; granddaughters, Hannah and Brittney Peeples; sister, Jewel Childs and her husband, Tony; nephew, Larry Craft; nieces, Barbara Craft and Mary Alice Lollis.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Billy Hammond Peeples who died in the line of duty while serving in Vietnam. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2012, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with the Reverend Brent Lollis officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
