Jimmy L. Phillips, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at his home. Born March 30, 1943, in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Teddy Phillips and Nina Faye Royston Phillips. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Phillips. Jimmy, who was affectionately known by everyone as "Pops", was a farmer, cattleman, and businessman. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel Willette Isom Phillips; daughters, Angela Phillips of Pendleton, SC, and Kristina Phillips Young of Anderson, SC; brother, William Phillips of Dewey Rose, GA; sister, Linda Bailey of Dewey Rose, GA; and grandchildren, Ainsley Kelley, Ashlyn Kelley, Gracie Young, and Olivia Young all of Anderson, SC. A cryptside service will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Roberts Cemetery Mausoleum.
