Jimmy Roy Price, 80, of Anderson, SC went to be with the Lord on December 28th, 2015 with his family by his side. Jimmy was born to the late Rothell and Nancy Jane Dickson Price in Mize, GA in the home place on the 160 acre Price farm. He and his wife, Marjouies were the owners and operators of Price's Meat Processing at his residence since the late 1960's. Jimmy was a founding member of Middleton Road Baptist Church. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Marjouies Eleanor Powers Price; two sons: Ronnie Price of Fountain Inn, SC and John Price of Anderson, SC; three daughters: Bonnie Price Moore and husband Mack of Antreville, SC, Jimmie Rhonda Gibbs and husband Steven of Pelzer, SC, and Nickie Renee Williams and husband Jerry of Lewisburg, TN; two brothers: Robert Price and wife Hilda of Anderson, SC and Harold Price and wife Peggy of Nicholson, GA; ten grandchildren: Danae King, Ron Branyon, Kenneth Branyon, Jimmy "Po-Jo" Price, Zeke Price, Maryann Ansari, Steven Gibbs, Amanda Perryman, Jessie Perryman, and Chris Perryman; and ten great grandchildren: Zak, Kolby, Guy, McKenzie, Ryelan, Adam, David, Ruth, Ethan, and Elijah. In addition to his parents Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughter: Debra Maryann Price and his brother: Joe Dan Price. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 31st, 2015 at Middleton Road Baptist Church in Anderson, SC with the Pastor Brandon McManis, Chaplain Matthew Roberts, and Rev. Wilton (Butch) Moore officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, Wednesday afternoon, December 30th, 2015 at The McDougald Funeral Home in Anderson, SC.
