Strickland, age 67, husband of Patricia Baughman Strickland of 613 Fairmont Road, died Wednesday, May 04, 2011 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, SC on May 2, 1944, Mr. Strickland was a son of the late Harold Strickland and Altha Vaughn Strickland. He retired from AnMed Health Medical Center as a respiratory therapist after 44 years of service. He was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife of the home; daughter, Cynthia Adams and her husband, Brian; son Mark Strickland; four grandchildren, Corey Adams, Zoe Adams, Zane Adams and Aspen Strickland all of Anderson.A Private Memorial Service will be held on Friday, officiated by the Reverend Bill Rigsby. The family will be at the home of his daughter, 605 Sherry Drive, Anderson, SC.
