Jimmy Frank Tabor, 79, of Anderson, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at his home.

Born June 14, 1944 in Anderson, he was the son of the late Jim Tabor and Ruth Moore Tabor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Burton Tabor and sisters, Patsy Reece and Mickee Crisp.

Jimmy worked for Owings Corning Fiberglass, retiring after 34 years of service. He was a graduate of Crescent High School and was a member of the S.C. National Guard. He enjoyed Carolina Gamecock football and his 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Frank Tabor (Mary); daughter, Kim Marie Tabor; grandchildren, Keith F. Tabor, Todd Tabor, Star Tabor, Dylan Carnes, Travis Spearman and Jared Hembree: and sister, Bobbie Tabor Wilson.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 4, 2023, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 2:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sam Duncan officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Park where Jimmy will be laid to rest beside his wife, Linda.

The family will be at their respective homes.
