She was of the Baptist faith.Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 51 years, Luther H. Hawkins; two sons, Luther H. Hawkins, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, and Brad Hawkins and his wife, Lynn; one sister and life-long best friend, Becky Lark and her husband, Frank; six grandchildren, Mandy, Kaylan, Josh, Jessie, Zach, and Tyler; and one great-grandson, Joshua.Including her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 1:00PM at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jerry Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Old Silver Brook Cemetery.The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.Flowers are optional.
