JOAN LAIRD NEVIN EISNAUGLE March 22, 1935 - October 5, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Joan Laird Eisnaugle, age 78, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, October 05, 2013, at NHC of Anderson. Born in Boonton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Armstrong Nevin and the late Delphine Stratford Nevin. Joan worked for the United States Army Corp of Engineers for many years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, David Carl Eisnaugle; a son, Glenn A. Eisnaugle, of Dingmans Ferry, PA; two daughters, Wendy Eisnaugle, of Anderson, SC and Donna Palmer and her husband Peter, of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Palmer and Christopher Ryan Palmer; and a brother, Pete Nevin and his wife Emily, of Prescott, AZ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and David; and two sisters, Betsy Drugac and Lynn Digney. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 3:30 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Cooper Gunby officiating. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Wendy, 255 Windjammer Way, Anderson, SC and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
