She was a homemaker and member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.Survivors include her sons, Gary Martin and Brandon Vassar; brothers, Dale Owen and Neal Owen and one grandchild, Charitey Joanna Marie Vassar, all of Anderson.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Wells, Cody and William Owen and sister, Marie Hall.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O.
