Joann Stroud Donald, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Fair Play, SC, on November 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John Stroud and the late Lily Mosely Stroud. Joann was a member of Andersonville Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Vicki) Donald, of Pelzer, SC, Jimmie Donald, of Abbeville, SC, Mike (Robin) Donald, of Iva, SC, Barbara Chabek, of Anderson, SC, Cathy (Johnny) Wiles, of Abbeville, SC, and Joyce (Wayne) Latham, of Anderson, SC; a brother, Virgil Stroud, of Belton, SC; sisters, Mary Hanna, of Anderson, SC, Betty Brooks, of Anderson, SC, Lavone Campbell, of Williamston, SC, and Fannie Witcher, of Iva, SC; 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Donald; a son, Gerald Donald; a son-in-law, John Chabek; two brothers, Crawford and Connie Stroud. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home of Barbara Chabek, 399 Public Well Road, Anderson, SC.
