Shaw, age 73, of Sandy Springs, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at her residence.Born in Oconee County, SC to the late J.B. Tannery and Irene Bennett Tannery, JoAnn retired from the textile industry and was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church in Anderson.She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry J. Shaw; one son, Joey Shaw and his wife Brenda, of Simpsonville, SC; one brother, Julian Tannery of Denver, NC; three sisters, Catherine T. Calloway of Anderson, SC, Ollie T. Crawford of Seneca, SC and Linda T. Taylor of Piedmont, SC; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a son, Anthony 'Tony' Shaw; a sister, Louise Madden; and three brothers, John, Robert and Randall Tannery.The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Joe Whisnant and Scotty Hendricks officiating.
