The McDougald Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2211 North Main Street Anderson, South Carolina 29621 864-224-4343 OBITUARY: JOE NORTON EAVES ANDERSON, SC Joe Norton Eaves, age 65, husband of Johanna Buchanan Eaves, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on July 12, 1948, he was the son of Annie "Runt" Duncan Eaves and the late Harold June Eaves. Mr. Eaves graduated from McDuffie High in 1966; he worked for Mayfield Mills for many years. He was very devoted to and enjoyed his family's times together. He was also a very proud member of the Breakfast Club. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by three children; daughter, Nina Ballard of Anderson, SC, sons; Brian (Paula) Eaves, of Anderson, SC, John Michael (Meg) Eaves of Easley, SC; brothers, Rodney (Karen) and Michael Eaves; sister, Delores (Billy) Dooley all of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Cliff (Anna) Barrett, Stephanie Barrett, Bryanna Eaves, Brandon Ballard, Emma Grace Eaves, and Lawson Eaves. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Bobby Smith officiating. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. The members of The Breakfast Club will service as Pallbearers. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
