Joseph Milton Martin, Jr., age 67, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at his residence. Born in Anderson, SC, on November 19, 1947, Joe was the son of the late Joseph Milton Martin, Sr., and the late Susie Heaton Martin. He was a graduate of the T.L. Hanna class of 1966, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army; he also served in the South Carolina National Guard. A graduate of Limestone College, Joe worked for Estes Truck Lines as a Terminal Manager in Atlanta and Greenville. He was a die-hard Clemson fan, enjoying all the sports at Clemson University. He is survived by his daughter, Joely Leik (Roger); two grandchildren, Mary Madison and Gage Clary; a brother, Douglas A. Martin (Debbie); a cousin, Delores Cromer; and a nephew, Preston Martin. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2014, and the funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 PM.
