Ownbey, age 66, husband of Carol Moore Ownbey of 304 Griffin Road, Belton, SC, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Belton, SC, on January 7, 1941, Mr. Ownbey was a son of the late Herbert Monroe Ownbey and Rebecca Johnson Ownbey. He was retired from Foundry and Steel and attended River Heights Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a professional photographer, a Mason, and an Eagle Scout. Mr. Ownbey was a United States Air Force veteran.He is survived by his wife, Carol Moore Ownbey of the home; daughters, Christy Richey and her husband, Scott of Belton, SC, Carrie Branyon and her husband, Chris of Honea Path, and Cynthia Ownbey of the home; brothers, J.T. Ownbey and Ronnie Ownbey; sisters, Margaret Elrod, Brenda Jordan, and Reba Ownbey, all of Belton, SC and five grandchildren, Trevor, Taylor, Tori Richey, Christin and Carissa Branyon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Ownbey.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Ansel Boggs and the Reverend Shane Elrod. Interment will follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The family will be at the home of a daughter, 1328 Cox Lake Road, Belton, SC.Memorials may be made to American Forests, P.O.
