JOE SWAIN August 12, 1935 - June 4, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Joe Elwood Swain, age 77, of Anderson, husband of Judy Swain, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his residence. Born in Southport, NC, he was the son of the late John Swain and Carol Thompson Swain. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a plumbing estimator for Easley Mechanical. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Dean Swain and his wife Tricia, of Anderson a brother, John Swain and his wife Pauline of Southport, NC; a grandson, Ryan Hall and his wife Anna, a granddaughter, Jessie Moore all of Anderson; two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Reese Hall of Anderson; and nephews, Jerry Swain and John Allen Swain of Southport, NC Memorials may be made to Anderson Arts Center, 110 Federal Street, Anderson, SC 29625. The family will be at the residence.
