Joe Ligon Vanadore, 84, of Starr, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born January 23, 1934 in Anderson County, SC, he was a son of the late Robert and Eula Bolt Vanadore. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James and Claude Vanadore and sisters, Rebecca Bannister and Mildred Brooks. Joe retired with 23 years of service from Sullivan Hardware and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was a great father and husband and will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Fay Allen Vanadore; son, Bobby Vanadore (Judy) and granddaughter, Laura Vanadore. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Sunday, July 29, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:30 pm with Rev. Lloyd Robinson and Rev.
