OBITUARYMR. JOEL E. SEABOLTDecember 7, 1942 - October 13, 2006FAIR PLAY, SCMr. Joel Everette Seabolt, age 63, husband of Mattie Grace Hicks Seabolt, of 576 W. Pine Grove Rd., died Friday, October 13, 2006 at his residence.Born in Greenville, SC, on December 7, 1942, Mr. Seabolt was the son of the late Elmer Seabolt and Elizabeth Miller Seabolt. He was retired from Monogan Mills after 30 years service and he was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Mattie Grace Hicks Seabolt; a son Brian K. Seabolt; step-daughters Shirley Ann Cuberson, Barbara Carol Arflin and Susan Diane Arflin; a sister, Sybil Clemens and 7 grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Seabolt and step-children, Frances Jean Arflin and Lewis Garland Arflin, Jr.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 2:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Mike Harrell. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends on Monday, October 16, 2006 at The McDougald Funeral Home from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.The family will be at the home of a niece Leila Williams at 4207 Pine Grove Rd.
