John Becker Hampton Bays, NY John Becker, age 90, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John Becker and Edna Fausel Becker. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. In the early years, he owned Alright Plumbing and Heating and later was a member of Plumbers Local 200 Union. He also had a passion for investing in Real Estate. He is survived by his son, Kenneth, of Hampton Bays, NY; two daughters, Donna Summey and husband Ben, of Easley, SC, Jane Adams and husband John, of Paris, TX; four brothers, George Becker, of Islip, NY, Ed Becker, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Donald Becker, of Tampa, FL, and Ronald Becker, of Oneonta, NY; four grandchildren, Jason Dryden and wife Davina, Jennifer Stevens and husband Aaron, Benjamin Adams and fianc Melanie Stock, and Kimberly Flippen and husband Cayton; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Jean Garms Becker; and two sisters, Francis Becker and Patricia B. Monteleone. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dwight Greene officiating. Interment will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery.
